Job summary

Digital Biology, Watertown MA, is hiring a Senior Scientist to lead our partnered high-throughput protein binder screening operation. You will champion standardized protocols, hands-on optimization, and end-to-end workflow management from library construction through data QC.

You will grow a team screening millions of proteins monthly, interfacing with partners to define data goals and deliver high-quality datasets for AI-driven protein design.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred; 5+ years in HT screening is ideal.
• Expert in library construction and design of screening campaigns.
• Proven ability to standardize SOPs and train teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-throughput screening campaigns at scale (millions of proteins per month).
• Own end-to-end workflow: DNA cloning, production, selection, NGS prep, analysis, QC.
• Establish SOPs, protocols, and training materials.
• Hands-on optimization of protocols for robustness, throughput, cost, and speed.
• Collaborate with computational scientists to align data goals and deliver quality data.
