Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years' experience in food service, 1 year supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of BCPS Manager Training/POS Training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Communicates food service policies to personnel and liaises with central office.
• Manages profit/loss and cash flow for the operation.
• Schedules daily jobs based on labor formulas and production needs.
• Provides on-the-job training and staff development.
• Evaluates employees and handles disciplinary actions with supervisor support.
• Ensures food quality, portion control, and inventory control.
• Maintains HACCP compliance and proper food production records.
• Handles cash procedures and POS operations across the complex.
• Oversees transportation to satellite sites and supervises related logistics.
• Markets the program to increase student participation.
