Job summary

Cortica is seeking a Lead Behavior Technician (School-Based) in a full-time capacity to deliver ABA services in school settings and supervise School Behavior Technicians. This role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and ensuring high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming support for students with ASD and related needs.

You will guide BTs, coordinate with BCBAs and educators, and ensure accurate data collection and compliance across sites. Travel between campuses is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience leading and managing direct reports.
• 1+ years of experience providing ABA services in school or clinical settings.
• Ability to obtain required safety training certification within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to obtain BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days of employment, when required by district.
• Must have reliable transportation and travel between work sites.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavior-analytic services to students in one-on-one and group settings within school environments.
• Lead by example in implementing individualized BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEPs and goals.
• Mentor and support BTs by modeling strategies and troubleshooting implementation challenges.
• Travel between school sites to ensure continuity of services.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, educators, and school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into classrooms.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data collection; supervise SBTs’ data practices.
• Provide feedback and coaching to BTs; participate in trainings and meetings.
• Oversee day-to-day administrative supervision of SBTs including performance management and scheduling.
