Job summary

Cortica is seeking a Lead School Behavior Technician (School-Based) in Glendale to lead direct ABA services in school settings and supervise School Behavior Technicians. You will model BIPs, support goal-driven skill development, and ensure high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming support for students and school teams.

The role requires leadership, data-driven practice, and collaboration with BCBAs and educators, with travel between school sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years leading and managing direct reports.
• 1+ years providing ABA services in school or clinical settings.
• Ability to obtain assigned safety training certification within 30 days.
• Ability to obtain and maintain BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days where required by district.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel between work sites.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct implementation of behavior-analytic services to students in school settings.
• Lead and supervise School Behavior Technicians; support performance management.
• Model BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEPs and educational goals.
• Substitute in schools to ensure continuity of services.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, educators, and school teams to integrate behavioral strategies.
• Collect and review data to monitor student progress.
