Job summary

Summit Line Construction is a high-voltage electrical utility contractor and Quanta Services company based in Heber City, Utah. The Junior Scheduler will support project controls across active transmission, distribution, substation and renewable energy projects in the Western U.S., building and maintaining CPM schedules tied to contractual obligations.

Under the Project Controls Manager or Senior Scheduler, you will work with project managers and field leadership, developing schedules in

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in construction project controls, scheduling, or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in CM, Civil Eng, PM, or equivalent.
• Basic CPM scheduling knowledge and schedule logic concepts.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or willingness to complete training.
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to analyze large data sets.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CPM schedules for transmission, distribution, substation, and renewable projects.
• Update schedules weekly/monthly and reflect progress and look-ahead windows.
• Create logic in Primavera P6 linking predecessors/successors for field workflows.
• Support resource-loaded schedules aligning crews with milestones and labor hours.
• Prepare delay analyses and schedule recovery plans under supervision.
• Collaborate with project managers and field staff to incorporate field realities.
