Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree in business, accounting, medical office management, or related field preferred.
• In lieu of an Associate’s Degree, 5 years of scheduling experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (healthcare preferred).

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgery, pre-op physicals, and testing with patients, families, staff, and providers.
• Ensure prior authorizations are completed as required by insurers.
• Verify and document insurance and authorization to support billing for procedures.
• Keep scheduling tools accurate, complete, and up to date across channels.
