Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Principal Scheduler to join the Houston Airport Systems project. You will lead the scheduling effort for a large, complex program and mentor junior staff while coordinating with engineering, construction, and project controls teams.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management and 15+ years in project controls, with strong leadership, MS Office, and Primavera/MS Project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field; 15+ years of experience in a lower-level Project Controls position.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and experience guiding project controls teams.
• Proficiency with Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and specialized assistance for resolving complex project control problems.
• Interfaces with clients, attends meetings, and provides statistical reports.
• Develops tools for project cost control and forecasting.
• Contributes to work breakdown structure development and interface with departments.
• Leads analysis, evaluation, and forecasting of schedule performance.
• Oversees staffing, assigns work, and conducts performance reviews.
• Maintains historical data to support future planning and forecasting.
• Leads a team responsible for schedule status against baseline and design changes impact.
• Customizes project control systems to meet project requirements.
