Job summary

Gulf Companies seeks a Senior Project Scheduler to lead planning and scheduling across projects from pre-FEED to startup. You will create detailed CPM schedules with resource and cost loading, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to support project data collection and updates.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in project controls, expert use of Primavera P6 and MS Project, and strong Excel skills. This role is office-based in Houston, TX with EPCM project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Business-related major.
• 10+ years industry experience.
• 7–10 years of Project Controls experience.
• Familiarity with nuclear project workflows preferred.
• Expert user of MS Project and Primavera P6.
• MS Excel competency.

Responsibilities

• Develop CPM project schedules using Primavera P6 with resource and cost loading.
• Interface with project team, clients, subcontractors to collect data for schedules.
• Prepare schedule updates and analyses; compare to baselines and identify variances.
• Identify corrective actions to mitigate schedule and cost impacts.
• Lead reporting for project management on progress and status.
• Maintain change management for schedule and cost trends.
• Assist in staffing, budgets, and contract plans.
• Coordinate with Finance/Accounting and third parties for invoicing and cost tracking.
