Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX seeks an experienced project Controls Scheduling Lead to own the master schedule across all active projects, integrating engineering, procurement, vendor, construction, and commissioning. You will drive weekly cadence and ensure active master schedules from concept through energization using Primavera P6 and ACC Docs.

The role requires 7+ years on large projects, expert CPM, EVM, and dashboard reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree required in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent hands-on project controls experience.
• 7+ years scheduling on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mining, government, or oil & gas projects.
• Direct scheduling experience with Primavera P6.
• Expert CPM schedule development, logic-tying, and resource loading.
• Excel-based analytics, milestone tracking, EVM calculations, scenario modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated master schedule across every active project.
• Develop fully integrated Engineering, Procurement, Vendor, Construction, and Commissioning schedules.
• Drive weekly scheduling cadence with stakeholders and maintain Level 3/4 master schedules from concept through energization.
• Monitor, analyze, and report critical path, schedule variance (SV), schedule performance index (SPI), and overall project performance.
• Translate project data into decision-ready outcomes for engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Create what-if scenario schedules to accelerate delivery or reduce risk; update scheduling tools weekly.
