Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking a Scheduler to oversee scheduling for multiple projects. You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, update progress, and enforce scheduling standards across teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of Primavera P6 experience, strong knowledge of construction means and methods, and the ability to mentor junior staff. Travel up to 50% is required as projects span multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years using Primavera P6/P6 Enterprise and schedule development.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Ability to validate schedule data against field progress.
• Experience collaborating with large, diverse, remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Collaborate with internal and external project teams to integrate schedules.
• Incorporate resources, costs, and quantities into the project schedule.
• Adhere to and enforce scheduling requirements per contract.
• Serve as the primary contact for scheduling needs with subcontractors and teams.
• Facilitate meetings to review schedule updates, risks, and issues.
• Align scheduling data with project controls for reporting.
• Mentor junior schedulers and coordinators to enhance scheduling expertise.
• Partner with leadership to improve scheduling standards and Jira/Primavera usage.
• Perform other scheduling functions as needed.
