Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking a skilled Scheduler to oversee scheduling for multiple projects, develop and maintain integrated schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and ensure alignment with project controls, progress reporting, and contract requirements.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of experience with Primavera P6 / P6 Enterprise and MS Project, strong knowledge of construction means and methods, and the ability to collaborate with remote teams and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Primavera P6 / P6 Enterprise, including schedule development, resource loading, and file management (MPP, XER, XLS).
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, with ability to validate schedule data against field progress.
• Experience collaborating with large, diverse, and remote project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Integrate resources, costs, and quantities into the schedule; enforce scheduling standards.
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams to align schedules.
• Align scheduling data with project controls data for reporting.
• Mentor junior schedulers and project coordinators.
• Support continuous improvement of scheduling standards and Primavera P6 usage.
• Attend schedule review meetings and communicate risks and mitigation strategies.
