Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead complex project scheduling for engineering and construction initiatives in the US.

You will develop and maintain CPM schedules, coordinate with clients and contractors, and provide technical direction to scheduling teams while ensuring schedule integrity and risk management. The role requires seven years of scheduling experience, proficiency with Primavera, and a strong cost/resource loading background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of scheduling experience on engineering or construction projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera and cost/resource loaded schedules.
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced technical leadership for project scheduling on medium to large or higher‑risk projects.
• Evaluates schedule performance, approves schedules for low to medium complexity projects.
• Develops and maintains CPM schedules with baseline strategy and coding.
• Leads schedule update analyses and identifies critical drivers and risks.
• Prepares time impact analyses and scenario evaluations.
• Integrates schedule inputs from clients, contractors, and third parties.
• Coordinates with leadership on sequencing conflicts and plan revisions.
• Provides written schedule narratives and compliance observations.
• Reviews and approves schedules for low‑complexity projects within thresholds.
• Mentors junior schedulers and contributes to scheduling templates.
