Job summary

MetroSys seeks an experienced Senior SCCM Patch Management Consultant to help a regional credit union assess and modernize its enterprise patch-management environment. The consultant will act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft SCCM, reviewing architecture, deployment, reporting, automation, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager for patch management environments.
• Strong knowledge of patching processes, deployment methods, and reporting.
• Ability to design and implement automation to reduce manual patching tasks.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive assessment of the existing SCCM/Microsoft Configuration Manager environment and patch-management process.
• Review SCCM architecture, site configuration, distribution points, WSUS integration, client health, boundaries and collections.
• Evaluate ADRs, deployment schedules, maintenance windows, reboot policies, and patching coverage.
• Develop and implement automation to improve SCCM administration, reporting, remediation, and workflows.
• Design or improve patching rings and deployment collections for test, pilot, production and critical infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities to automate patch identification, deployment, validation, remediation, and compliance reporting.
