Job summary

The Department of Defense seeks an Enterprise Patch Management and Vulnerability Remediation System Administrator to lead patch deployment, configuration corrections, and vulnerability mitigation across MCCS-managed environments (Microsoft, Azure, SCCM). The role requires hands-on expertise in ACAS/Nessus remediation, RMF and STIGs, and the ability to operate 24/7 on Severity A–C incidents.

You will use SCCM, PowerShell automation, and tools like Recast Right Click Tools to enforce baselines,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft environments, Azure, and SCCM.
• Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
• Ability to train MCCS staff on patching workflows and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 technical support for Severity A–C incidents across MCCS systems.
• Conduct assessments, health checks, and vulnerability reviews to identify patches.
• Execute patch installations, configuration changes, and system updates.
• Remediate findings from ACAS and Nessus to satisfy DoD requirements.
• Validate remediation and document completion for Windows apps and POS systems.
• Utilize SCCM, PowerShell automation, and Right Click Tools for remediation actions.
• Manage inventories, compliance baselines, and remediation reports.
• Deliver training sessions on patching workflows and tooling.
