Job summary

Averity is partnered with a global top-20 law firm in New York City to seek a senior-level System Configuration Engineer. This hands-on role owns enterprise patching and configuration management across Windows and Linux in a 24/7 global environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in systems engineering, deep SCCM expertise, advanced PowerShell automation, and experience with AD, GPO, WSUS, and hybrid infrastructure. VMware, Ansible, Terraform, or CIS benchmarks are a plus.

• Enterprise Windows and Linux server patching.
• Security baselines, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting.

We are working with a global top-20 Law firm that has been in business for over 100 years, seeking a senior-level System Configuration Engineer in New York City.

This person will own enterprise patching and configuration management across Windows and Linux servers in a global, 24/7 environment.

Key experience:

• 7+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure operations
• Deep Microsoft SCCM expertise
• Advanced PowerShell automation
• Enterprise Windows and Linux server patching
• Security baselines, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting
• Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, and hybrid infrastructure

Experience with VMware, Ansible, Terraform, Azure Automation, CIS benchmarks, or Power BI is a plus.

This is a highly visible, hands-on position for an engineer who can own large-scale infrastructure programs, automate complex processes, and solve critical systems issues.
