Brunel, a leading renewable energy technology company, is expanding its North American team in Houston, hiring a SCADA Solutions Consultant to support customers operating utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage assets.

You will serve as a technical expert, troubleshooting SCADA, communications, and connectivity issues while delivering practical guidance to operators.

This role offers opportunities to work directly with customers, engineers, and product teams to maximize system performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SCADA experience.
• Strong understanding of SCADA systems and architecture.
• Experience with PLCs, RTUs, and controllers.
• Knowledge of networking, servers, and communications infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA, networking, and control system issues.
• Support customers operating utility-scale solar, wind, or storage assets.
• Investigate problems involving controllers, PLCs, RTUs, and communication networks.
• Diagnose data flow, connectivity, and system performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to drive resolution.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to customers.
• Develop troubleshooting documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Prioritize multiple customer issues while maintaining service standards.
