Job summary

Invenergy, a leading North American renewable energy company, seeks a SCADA Engineer to maintain and expand SCADA infrastructure across North America, Latin America, and Europe. You will partner with Performance Analytics, Availability Engineering, and field teams to validate modifications, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure scalable, reliable operations for wind, solar, and storage projects.

You will mentor peers on new SCADA technologies, contribute to training programs, and drive improvements

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of industry experience supporting renewable energy generation equipment.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for OEM hardware and software capabilities.
• Work with Performance Analytics and Availability Engineering to validate system modifications and maintain operations of generation equipment.
• Support facilities and Invenergy Control Center with upkeep/troubleshooting of field equipment.
• Troubleshoot and improve SCADA system reliability to drive performance.
• Lead technical resolutions with OEMs/integrators and other engineering functions.
• Collaborate with other SCADA engineers to integrate systems and provide telemetry to external entities.
• Validate current SCADA architecture and ensure scalability of changes.
• Provide training and development support for engineers and site personnel.
• Mentor team members on new SCADA technologies, tools, processes, and standards.
• Drive contractual terms to fit organizational needs and operations.
• Identify software versions/platforms to address issues and challenges.
• Assess regulatory impacts on field devices/systems.
