You will serve as a technical expert, troubleshooting SCADA, communications, and connectivity issues while delivering practical guidance to operators.

This role offers opportunities to work directly with customers, engineers, and product teams to maximize system performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SCADA experience.
• Strong understanding of SCADA systems and architecture.
• Experience with PLCs, RTUs, and controllers.
• Knowledge of networking, servers, and communications infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.

This role is ideal for experienced SCADA professionals who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, troubleshooting control systems, and working directly with customers. You will serve as a technical expert, helping renewable energy operators maximize system performance and quickly resolve monitoring, communications, and connectivity issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA, communications, networking, and control system issues
• Support customers operating utility-scale renewable energy assets
• Investigate problems involving controllers, PLCs, RTUs, servers, inverters, and communication networks
• Diagnose data flow, connectivity, and system performance issues
• Partner with engineering, product, and support teams to drive issue resolution
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to customers
• Develop troubleshooting documentation and knowledge-sharing materials
• Manage and prioritize multiple customer issues while maintaining a high standard of service

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of hands-on SCADA experience

Strong understanding of:

• SCADA systems and architecture
• PLCs, RTUs, and controllers
• Networking, switches, servers, and communications infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience

Preferred:

• Renewable energy experience (solar, wind, BESS, or utilities)
• Experience supporting monitoring and control systems
• Python knowledge
• REST API exposure
• Industrial networking or OT networking experience
