Job summary

Opoura seeks a SCADA/OT engineer to join our North American Professional Services team. You will own complex customer projects, design and troubleshoot OT networks, and help wind, solar, and energy storage clients improve operations.

Based in the US with proximity to Houston or Portland, the role requires travel (roughly 30–50 days per year) and close collaboration with experienced colleagues to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience with industrial networking and SCADA.
Experience configuring routers, switches, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
Strong diagnostic skills for complex connectivity and system integration.
Knowledge of SCADA architectures and industrial protocols.
English fluency and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Own SCADA, OT, and industrial network issues from diagnosis to resolution.
Design and troubleshoot OT infrastructure including switches, routing, VLANs, VPNs.
Resolve SCADA server/controller integration issues.
Translate customer requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Plan SCADA lifecycle activities and onsite troubleshooting.
Support knowledge sharing and deliverable-quality reviews.
