Job summary

Invenergy is looking for a Principal Engineer to join our Construction team in Chicago, responsible for the integration and commissioning of SCADA systems. You will lead the technical architecture for Battery Energy Storage Systems and provide support for solar and other technologies.

Ideal candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering and over 8 years of relevant experience. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to mentor other engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration approach for BESS projects.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor submittals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during project execution.
