Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Principal Engineer to join the Construction team, focusing on SCADA systems and communications infrastructure for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and related projects. This role involves technical leadership from concept to commissioning, ensuring integration standards are met across various energy technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering and over 8 years of experience in power generation SCADA. Travel is required, and a valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Experience delivering BESS focused SCADA and controls integration through commissioning and turnover.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration for BESS projects.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor submissions.
• Support operational plans to energize and commission projects.
