Job summary

Invenergy is looking for a Principal Engineer to lead technical efforts in SCADA systems and controls integration, primarily focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems. This role involves defining control strategies and ensuring reliable data connectivity across generation projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience, with strong expertise in SCADA systems and a BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Invenergy values innovation and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Demonstrated experience delivering BESS focused SCADA and controls integration.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration approach for BESS projects from concept to commissioning.
• Develop specifications for EMS, BMS, SCADA, and IT and OT equipment networks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure SCADA deliverables align with project requirements.
