Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Principal Engineer to join their Construction team in Cleveland, Ohio. This individual will serve as a senior technical leader focusing on engineering, procurement, and commissioning for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across various projects. Responsibilities include leading SCADA integration and support for solar and other technologies while ensuring standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience, strong project management skills, and a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration approach for BESS projects.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor submittals and drawings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure SCADA deliverables align with project requirements.
