Job summary

Anduril Industries in McHenry, Mississippi, is seeking a Staff SCADA Controls Engineer to own the SCADA layer for high-rate solid rocket motor production. You will design, commission, and upgrade control systems, and lead integration of FactoryOS software with automation equipment on the plant floor in a role focused on reliability and standards.

You will architect Siemens PLC code, implement Ignition Perspective screens, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 8+ years in controls in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for Solid Rocket Motor production equipment.
Architect, write, and debug Siemens PLC code with emphasis on maintainable high-volume solutions.
Generate and enforce internal standards for control systems architectures, safety buyoffs, and regulatory compliance.
Integrate internal/ external FactoryOS software into automation equipment and lines.
Build and maintain SCADA applications in Ignition (Perspective, tag architecture, historian).
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures.
Install, configure, and tune servo drives / VFDs.
Troubleshoot equipment issues with cross-functional teams; drive continuous improvement.
