Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Sr. Controls Engineer focused on SCADA to join the Manufacturing Automation team in Costa Mesa, CA. Design HMIs and SCADA screens with Ignition, architect scalable SCADA apps for high-volume production, and enforce internal standards.

You will lead root-cause analyses, integrate software with automation equipment, and partner with cross-functional teams to cut downtime. Requires 6+ years in SCADA/MES, Ignition expertise, and US person with security clearance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
6+ years of experience in SCADA and MES applications.
Proficient in Ignition by Inductive Automation and higher level languages like Python and HTML.

Responsibilities

Design functional HMIs/SCADA screens using Ignition.
Architect SCADA applications for high-volume manufacturing; ensure maintainability and reusability.
Generate and enforce internal SCADA standards; integrate manufacturing software.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Work off shift or irregular hours as needed.
