Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a SCADA focused Controls Engineer to join the Ignition Development team within our Manufacturing Automation group. You will design HMIs, architect scalable SCADA solutions, and drive standardization across high-volume manufacturing environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead RCA for automation incidents, and support production lines with rapid, reliable automation enhancements; willingness to work off-shift or irregular hours is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in SCADA and MES applications.
US Person and security clearance eligibility.
Proficiency with Ignition by Inductive Automation and related protocols.

Responsibilities

Design functional HMIs/SCADA screens using Ignition aligned with internal branding.
Architect SCADA applications that are organized, documented and maintainable.
Generate and enforce internal SCADA standards.
Integrate internal and external manufacturing software with automation equipment and lines.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot SCADA issues and reduce downtime.
