Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior SCADA Controls Engineer for Manufacturing Automation to design HMIs/SCADA screens and architect scalable SCADA applications for high-volume production environments.

The role emphasizes integrating manufacturing software, leading root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have Ignition by Inductive Automation experience, a Bachelor's in software or computer science, and 6+ years in SCADA/MES.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person with security clearance eligibility
• Proficient in Ignition by Inductive Automation
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 6+ years of experience in SCADA and MES
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Rest API, MQTT, AMQP, OPC UA, Modbus and BACnet
• Familiarity with PLC base control systems
• Ignition Gold Certification
• Proficient in Python and HTML

Responsibilities

• Design functional HMIs/SCADA screens using Ignition per internal branding standards
• Architect SCADA applications that are organized, structured, documented, maintainable, and reusable
• Generate and enforce internal standards for SCADA systems
• Integrate internal and external manufacturing software with automation equipment and lines
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot SCADA issues and drive improvements
• Willingness to work off shift or irregular hours
