Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Sr. Controls Engineer focused on SCADA to design HMIs, architect scalable SCADA applications, and integrate automation software across national manufacturing operations. You will lead root cause analyses, set internal standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime.

Must be willing to work off hours. Requires Ignition expertise, 6+ years in SCADA/MES, and a U.S. Person with security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information
US security clearance eligibility is required
Ignition by Inductive Automation proficiency is required
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
6+ years of SCADA/MES experience
Knowledge of Rest API, MQTT, AMQP, OPC UA, Modbus and BACnet
Understanding of PLC-based control systems
Ignition Gold Certification
Proficiency in Python and HTML

Responsibilities

Design HMIs/SCADA screens using Ignition per internal branding standards
Architect scalable SCADA applications for high-volume manufacturing
Generate and enforce SCADA internal standards
Integrate manufacturing software with automation equipment and lines
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and drive improvements
Willing to work off shift or irregular hours
