Regions Bank is seeking an SBA Underwriter to provide underwriting support for the SBA Portfolio. You will review applications against an approval checklist, perform eligibility analysis, spread financial statements, and prepare Credit Approval Packages.

The role may include credit monitoring and collateral management responsibilities. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least seven years of SBA experience, with underwriting authority up to $1,000,000.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Seven years of SBA experience, commercial loan underwriting, financial analysis, or portfolio management.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews SBA applications after Pre-Underwriting Review.
• Evaluates loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility per SBA SOP.
• Prepares detailed credit memos outlining terms and risk mitigation.
• Mentors SBA Underwriter I/II and supports underwriting manager.
