Regions Bank is seeking an experienced SBA Underwriter to provide underwriting support for the SBA Portfolio. You will evaluate loan requests, perform financial analysis, and prepare credit materials while mentoring junior underwriters and coordinating with SBA Bankers and leadership.

The role focuses on complex applications with significant credit exposure and requires strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Seven (7) years of SBA experience, commercial loan underwriting, financial analysis or portfolio management experience.
• Experience applying SBA SOPs and credit underwriting standards.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews SBA applications following Pre-Underwriting Review.
• Evaluates loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility per SBA SOPs.
• Prepares detailed credit memoranda for loan closing and risk mitigation.
• Mentors SBA Underwriter I/II and supports underwriting team.
• Interacts with SBA Bankers and Credit Leadership on complex cases.
