Regions Bank is seeking an SBA Underwriter to provide underwriting support for the SBA portfolio. You will review applications, perform eligibility analysis, spread financials, assess repayment capacity, and prepare credit packages for loan closing.

You will mentor junior underwriters and handle complex loans up to $1,000,000, with compliance to SBA SOP and ongoing monitoring requirements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Seven (7) years of SBA experience, commercial loan underwriting, financial analysis or portfolio management experience.

Mansioni

• Reviews each assigned SBA application following Pre-Underwriting Review.
• Evaluates loan applications for accuracy, completeness and eligibility using SBA SOP.
• Mentors SBA Underwriter I/II and supports staff during absences.
• Analyzes financial statements and repayment capacity for borrowers and guarantors.
• Identifies risks and prepares credit memorandum with terms and conditions.
• Interacts with Regions SBA loan customers with SBA Bankers and Credit Leadership.
