Regions Bank in Hoover, Alabama is seeking an SBA Underwriter to provide underwriting support for the SBA portfolio. You will review loan applications for eligibility, perform financial statement analysis, and prepare detailed credit packages for loan approvals, working with SBA Bankers and Credit Leadership.

The role involves handling complex applications with exposure over $350,000, mentoring staff, and maintaining compliance with SBA SOPs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Seven (7) years of SBA experience, commercial loan underwriting, financial analysis or portfolio management experience.
• Experience with SBA 7a and 504 underwriting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews each assigned SBA application following Pre-Underwriting Review.
• Evaluates loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility per SOP.
• Prepares credit memorandum outlining terms and conditions for loan closing.
