Regions Bank is seeking an SBA Underwriter to provide underwriting support for the SBA Portfolio. You will evaluate loan requests against product type checklists, perform initial eligibility analyses, spread financials, and prepare credit packages.

You may also set requirements for ongoing monitoring, collateral management, and overall SBA loan performance. The role involves mentoring underwriter staff, handling complex applications, and collaborating with SBA Bankers, Sales Managers, and Credit

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Seven (7) years of SBA experience, commercial loan underwriting, financial analysis or portfolio management experience.

Mansioni

• Reviews each assigned SBA application following Pre-Underwriting Review.
• Evaluates loan applications for SBA SOP compliance, accuracy and eligibility.
• Prepares credit memorandum outlining terms, conditions and risk mitigation.
• Mentors and supports SBA Underwriter I/II; coordinates with SBA Bankers and Credit Leadership.
• Handles complex applications with total credit exposure > $350,000; maintains documentation.
