Job summary

KeyBank seeks an experienced SBA Relationship Manager to drive growth with business clients having $3–$10M annual sales and loan sizes up to $5M. You will leverage COIs and internal partners to expand cross-sales, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong client service.

You will partner with credit and underwriting teams, manage loan structuring, and maintain ongoing client relationships to support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• Deep SBA lending knowledge including 7(a), 504, Express and underwriting.
• Strong cross-sale and referral networking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain deep SBA product knowledge and competitive awareness.
• Prospect for opportunities and source COIs to grow pipeline.
• Joint calls with BBRMs and SBRMs to expand SBA product knowledge.
• Meet and exceed sales goals; contribute to team success.
• Assess client needs and position banking solutions accordingly.
• Coordinate with credit campus to streamline underwriting and approvals.
• Ensure compliance and accurate loan documents; resolve exceptions.
• Maintain ongoing client contact to support growth initiatives.
• Adhere to sales, regulatory, quality, and client-contact policies.
• Structure and manage loans for commercial clients; assess risk.
