Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Senior Technologist, Savory Applications, in Bridgewater, NJ. You will drive experimental designs and execution in savory ingredients for new-product development, customer support, and product support. Hybrid work structure offers four days on-site and one day remote.

You will bring 3+ years in food formulation, pilot-plant operations, and scale-up with GMP knowledge, plus strong communication and project management skills to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Food Science or related field with 3+ years in food formulation and product development.
• Hands-on formulation development, laboratory and pilot-plant operations, scale-up and commercialization.
• Experience with thermal and non-thermal processing technologies and GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop new ingredients and solutions in Savory applications to support NPD and customer needs.
• Collaborate with customers to provide technical solutions to product development challenges.
• Lead projects and pilot work to maintain competitive capabilities and next‑gen products.
• Educate teams on savory capabilities and train others as needed.
• Present findings and communicate results clearly using required formats.
