Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is offering a summer 2027 internship for a Customer Innovation Technical Service Intern in the Savory category, located on-site in Bridgewater, NJ. You will support new product development, create customer-valued solutions, and develop food formulations and prototypes on a lab bench using Good Manufacturing Practices.

You will work with a team to conduct analyses, gather insights, prepare technical reports, and present results to management at the end of the internship

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, Food or Chemical Engineering or related field.
Must have completed at least two years of coursework with soph/junior/non-graduating senior status.
Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment.
Reliable transportation to facility each work day.

Responsibilities

Develop food formulations and prototypes on lab scale.
Conduct analyses on prototypes using analytical tools and interpret results.
Coordinate, summarize and report data from experiments.
Present results with recommendations to management at internship end.
