Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is offering a summer 2027 internship for a Customer Innovation Technical Service Intern in the Savory category, located on-site in Bridgewater, NJ. You will support new product development, create customer-valued solutions, and develop food formulations and prototypes on a lab bench using Good Manufacturing Practices.

You will work with a team to conduct analyses, gather insights, prepare technical reports, and present results to management at the end of the internship

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, Food or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Must have completed at least two years of coursework with soph/junior/non-graduating senior status.
• Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment.
• Reliable transportation to facility each work day.

Responsibilities

• Develop food formulations and prototypes on lab scale.
• Conduct analyses on prototypes using analytical tools and interpret results.
• Coordinate, summarize and report data from experiments.
• Present results with recommendations to management at internship end.
