Job summary

You will drive pilot-scale projects, collaborate with customers, and advance savory applications with innovative ingredients and technologies.

The role requires hands-on formulation work, GMP knowledge, and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Food Science or related field with 3+ years of experience in food formulation and product development.
• Hands-on formulation development, laboratory and pilot plant operations, scale-up, and commercialization.
• Experience with thermal and non-thermal processing technologies.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and food safety for thermal and acidified products.
• Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results.
• Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new ingredients and solutions in the Savory space aligned with company strategy.
• Collaborate with customers to provide technical solutions for product development challenges.
• Lead applications work to enable next-generation products and maintain competitiveness.
• Support savory capability development and provide required education/training.
• Prototype new formulations focused on cost reduction, nutrition, processability, and functionality.
• Design and conduct pilot plant or lab experiments; document results meticulously.
• Present scientific work at internal and external conferences and tradeshows.
• Travel up to 20% for customer visits, conferences, and industry events.
