Job summary

Ingredion offers a summer internship as a Customer Innovation Technical Service Intern in Bridgewater, NJ. You will support new product development in Savory sauces and dressings, developing formulations and prototypes on a lab bench, and documenting technical reports with guidance from a manager.

Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Food Science or related field, with at least two years of coursework completed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with two years of coursework completed and pursuing lab-based research experience.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer internship term.
• Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct searches on current technology and summarize outcomes in reports.
• Develop food formulations and prototypes on lab scale and conduct tastings for feedback.
• Analyze prototypes using analytical tools and interpret results.
• Coordinate and report data from experiments.
• Present results and conclusions with recommendations at internship end.
