We seek a Senior System Development Engineer to develop embedded software, drivers, and system applications for satellite avionics, with strong emphasis on security and cross-team collaboration. This role is based in Redmond, WA, USA, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
• Knowledge of software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including code reviews and source control.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern languages.
• Write device drivers and system applications for satellite systems.
• Write software to interact with micro-controllers.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams for board bring-up and testing.
• Design and develop with a strong focus on security.
