Job summary

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network delivering fast, reliable internet access worldwide. Join the Network Reliability team to help shape a global Service Provider network supporting 3,236 satellites and terrestrial infrastructure.

As a senior network engineer, you will build tooling, monitor telemetry, and drive proactive improvements across satellite and ground systems. Expect a fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration and ownership of critical reliability

Qualifications

5+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
5+ years of Linux/Unix environment experience.
5+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience.
Experience with incident management and troubleshooting in production environments.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain monitoring, troubleshooting, and operation processes for a global Service Provider network at scale.
Develop understanding of end-to-end network architecture across satellite and terrestrial systems.
Establish and enforce incident and problem management for rapid resolution.
Coordinate with service owners to resolve incidents across teams.
Prioritize and track cross-team initiatives to reduce recurring problems.
Create proactive monitoring and alerting to improve reliability and customer experience.
