Job summary

RHONDOS is seeking a mid-level Sales Engineer to join its EMEA pre-sales team. You will work with account executives to drive technical discovery, demonstrate PowerConnect, and support SAP security engagements for enterprise customers.

You'll translate customer requirements into scalable RHONDOS solutions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to playbooks and technical assets, often traveling up to 20% across the region.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in a Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or SAP consulting role.
• Hands-on SAP functional or technical expertise with SAP customers.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles with account executives.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; multilingual a plus.
• Resident in and eligible to work in Germany, Austria, Poland, Ukraine, or Netherlands.
• Self-directed and organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions on SAP landscapes, security posture, and compliance.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations of PowerConnect to technical and executive audiences.
• Develop proofs-of-concept, architecture proposals, and RFP responses.
• Be the primary technical voice alongside account executives throughout the sales cycle.
• Translate customer requirements into RHONDOS solution designs.
• Build strong relationships with customer IT, security, and SAP Basis teams.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services for smooth handoffs.
