Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager in our Technology practice to lead SAP-related engagements, translating business requirements into technical specifications and delivering scalable architecture solutions.

You will manage complex SAP client engagements, oversee budgets, guide large teams, and drive risk management while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred.
• Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• At least five years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within a functional consulting or system configuration role.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
• Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members.
• Knowledge of best practices in supply chain, along with benchmarking and advisory experience related to supply chain-specific technology functions.
• Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.
• Flexibility to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40–60%.
• Experience in conducting technology cost-benefit analyses.
• Familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks.
• Skills in training design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis.
• Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met.
• Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.
• Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and possessing strong business acumen; staying current with industry trends.
• Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress and mitigating risks.
• Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration.
• Mentoring junior consultants and fostering an innovative, inclusive team environment.
• Identifying and generating new business opportunities across EY practices.
