Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI‑CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration for utility receivables, payments, collections, and financial processing in SAP IS‑U FI‑CA. You will work with stakeholders and technical teams across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

Responsibilities include configuring FI‑CA contracts, testing payment interfaces, and supporting end-to-end processes, with travel up to 60% as required. The role offers growth within EY's US utilities practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including FI-CA.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Hands-on experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, open-item management, and FI-CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI-CA integration with SAP IS-U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger, including reconciliation and period-end considerations.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Configuring FI-CA contract accounts, business-partner relationships, and open-item processing.
• Designing and testing payment processing interfaces and cash-desk flows.
• Configuring dunning, collections, installment plans, and receivables processes.
• Supporting FI-CA events, BRF+ rules, and process automation.
• Analyzing FI-CA integration with GL, billing, tax, and customer-service transactions.
• Preparing functional designs, configuration docs, test cases, and process flows.
• Executing unit and integration testing and supporting UAT and defect resolution.
• Collaborating with Billing, Customer Service, Retail, banking partners, and FI/CO teams to resolve defects.
• Providing production support and knowledge transfer to client teams.
