Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utilities clients across the United States. You will translate billing requirements into robust functional designs and support a full meter-to-cash lifecycle.

The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams, configuring billing schemas, managing master data, and supporting testing, cutover, and production stabilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with hands-on SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience configuring SAP IS-U billing schemas, rates, facts, operands, billing master data and invoicing processes.
• Understanding meter-to-cash processes and dependencies across related systems.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing billing requirements for electric, gas, and water utilities and service territories.
• Configuring and supporting SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing solutions including master data, rates, and billing schemas.
• Configuring billing, invoicing, and downstream postings with FI-CA and related systems.
• Executing tests and supporting UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional impacts across Device Management, Energy Data Management, FI-CA, and Customer Service teams.
