Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients. You will translate billing requirements into functional designs and collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Some travel to meet client needs is expected. This role focuses on end-to-end meter-to-cash processes, including billing schemas, rate structures, and invoicing across electric, gas, and water utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically, 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands-on SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience configuring SAP IS-U billing schemas, rates, facts, operands, billing master data, billing orders, invoicing, and billing-cycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze billing and invoicing requirements across utility sectors and service territories.
• Configure and support billing, invoicing, and downstream postings with FI-CA and related systems.
• Perform unit and integration testing, support UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Coordinate end-to-end impacts across multiple workstreams and teams.
