Job summary

Liberty Utilities is seeking a SAP Functional Lead to act as the business process expert across SAP-enabled processes including billing and collections. You will partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, review functional specs, and guide solution design with delivery teams.

The role emphasizes audit readiness, data stewardship, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant, scalable SAP solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting SAP-enabled business processes, ERP applications, or business systems.
• Experience acting as a functional SME supporting cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, regulatory, and internal control requirements.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting requests, and data governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SAP functional SME for assigned business domains.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and document impacts.
• Review and validate functional specifications and business requirements.
• Coordinate design workshops, solution reviews, and testing/readiness activities.
• Support audit, compliance, and control activities and evidence collection.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
