Job summary

Liberty Utilities is seeking a SAP Functional Lead to act as the trusted advisor for SAP-enabled business processes across finance, procurement, and operations. You will work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements, assess impacts, and ensure alignment with controls and enterprise standards.

You will support testing, data stewardship, and business readiness activities, guiding design workshops and solution reviews while helping teams adopt standardized processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, finance, accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting SAP-enabled business processes or ERP systems.
• Experience translating business needs into functional requirements and working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and data governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SAP functional SME for assigned business domains.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand processes, needs, and system challenges.
• Translate requirements into functional specs and document impacts.
• Review and validate requirements and proposed process changes.
• Support audit, compliance, and control activities and provide evidence as needed.
• Coordinate with Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure readiness and testing.
