Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN), parent company of Liberty, seeks an experienced SAP Functional Lead to guide business processes and SAP-enabled solutions. You will work with Product Owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements, review designs, and ensure SAP capabilities align with controls and enterprise standards.

The role emphasizes audit readiness, data stewardship, and collaboration with delivery teams to drive improvements and user adoption across Liberty’s SAP landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting SAP-enabled business processes, ERP apps, or business systems.
• Experience as a functional SME supporting cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with audit, compliance, regulatory, and internal control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SAP functional subject matter expert for assigned business domains.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and system needs.
• Facilitate business process discussions and requirements clarification sessions.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and document impacts.
• Review and validate functional specs, requirements, and proposed changes.
• Provide guidance on SAP capabilities, best practices, and operational impacts.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation.
• Escalate risks and ensure alignment with enterprise controls and procedures.
