Job summary

Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. in the United States is seeking a SAP Functional Lead to serve as Liberty's SAP business process expert, providing functional guidance across SAP-enabled processes and coordinating between business stakeholders and delivery teams.

You will translate requirements, support testing and business readiness, ensure regulatory controls, and drive data stewardship, process standardization, and user adoption while aligning with enterprise standards and SOX/compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience supporting SAP-enabled business processes, ERP applications, or business systems.
• Experience serving as a functional SME supporting business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, regulatory, or internal control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SAP functional subject matter expert for assigned business domains.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and system needs.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and document impacts.
• Review and validate business requirements and proposed process changes.
• Provide guidance on SAP capabilities, standard functionality, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation.
• Coordinate with product owners and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with controls and enterprise standards.
