Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking an experienced Senior Sensitive Activities Budget Analyst to provide budget execution, advisory support, and financial oversight across highly classified programs in the Washington, DC area. This role serves as the primary financial liaison, ensuring policy compliance, accurate reporting, and minimal supervision across multiple security domains.

Ideal candidates have strong DoW and intelligence budgeting expertise, with proven ability to work with DoW personnel,

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience with DoW or Intelligence budgets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional experience.
• Knowledge of budget laws, regulations, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial liaison for a sensitive program or portfolio.
• Provide budget execution support and track fiscal performance.
• Ensure compliance with security classification guides and policies.
• Coordinate program reviews and budget data for PPBE cycles.
• Offer guidance on financial accounting and analyses.
• Use budget systems to monitor obligations and expenditures.
• Provide updates to government stakeholders on document status.
• Extract and reconcile financial data from records and reports.
• Process reimbursable documents and fund distribution requests.
• Collect funding estimates to support budget formulation.
